Christmas Cocktails

Winter Warmer

Let’s start with our Winter Pimm’s recipe, a great alternative to mulled wine, this winter warmer never fails to hit the spot! This recipe makes quite a lot, so is perfect for a gathering. Start by warming through 500ml of brandy, with 500ml of Pimm’s No. 1 and 2 litres of cloudy apple juice. Finally add a sliced orange, apple and 2 cinnamon sticks. Check the temperature, then served in a festive or glass mug.

Pimp your fizz

If you love your prosecco or champagne why not pimp up you fizz! Keep it simple by adding a dash of Chambord – the gorgeous black raspberry liqueur to your flute of fizz – topped off of course with a raspberry, or instead add a splash of Crème de Cassis for a classic Kir Royale.

And those with a sweeter tooth will love a Bakewell Fizz, with the flavours based on a traditional Bakewell tart. To make this drink you’ll need to add a Kirsch soaked cherry to the bottom of your flute, then add 25ml of Amaretto Disaronno, followed by 15ml of Cherry Kirsch, topped up with your preferred choice of fizz – delicious!
